Taher Foods, Inc. is a professional food service management company which has been contracted by Marshall Public Schools to provide a breakfast and lunch program for all of our school buildings.
Free School Meals for Kids Bill Signed into Law
Gov. Tim Walz signed the Free School Meals for Kids bill on Friday, March 17, 2023. The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) is excited to implement this program for our students in Minnesota. This legislation provides state reimbursement for a free breakfast and lunch to all students at schools participating in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and the School Breakfast Program (SBP). The Free School Meals for Kids Program will start on July 1, 2023.
Note: Additional "a-la-cart" items may be purchased at the Middle School and High School. In order to purchase these extra items, students must pre-pay money into a meal account and their account will be properly debited as they go through the food line. Middle and High School students also have the option of paying cash for their meals as they go through the lunch line.

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online at: https://www.usda.gov/sites/default/files/documents/ad-3027.pdf, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
