West Side Elementary houses grades 3 and 4 with approximately 300 students.  The average class size is 23- 24 students.  At West Side Elementary, we work hard to serve our district’s mission statement of “Marshall Public Schools develops the potential of each learner for success in a changing world.”  Students are provided with many different opportunities to grow and learn at their pace.  In the 2008-2009 state testing, the MCA-II’s, we made adequate yearly progress.   We strive to ensure success for our students by providing quality instruction and a positive environment that promotes learning.
