2013 MHS Speech Team
JESSICA OAXACA - 2013 STATE SPEECH CHAMPION!
At the 2013 Minnesota State High School League State Speech Tournament in Blaine, MHS Speech Junior Jessica Oaxaca was crowned Champion in Extemporaneous Reading! Jessica beat the other 23 State Speech qualifiers in her category to win the MSHSL gold medal. Jessica is the 25th State Speech Champion in MHS Speech history (since 1976)!
Also advancing to finals and receiving a MSHSL medal at State were: Jeff Paskach 5th place Creative Expression, and Abby Surprenant 6th place Original Oratory.
