    I am excited to be teaching at MATEC. I am originally from Odin, MN and graduated from Butterfield-Odin High School. I attended Northwestern College in Roseville for one year before transferring to SMSU. I graduated with a BS in Math Education and Computer Science. I taught junior high math in Canby for 3 years and then 7-8th grade math for 10 years in Marshall, before coming to MATEC in 2007. 
     
    My expectations for my students are quite high. I expect them to do the work I assign, to show their work and to come to school ready to learn. All the tests are open book and students can use their notes/homework and calculators as well. Grades are based on homework, assessments and participation points, which are earned in class.
