Stop into the District Office to get your ballot today!Not able to visit the District Office?Contact us at (507) 537-6924 to receive your application and ballot by mail.What are the questions that we will be asked to vote on?Click here to view a sample ballot.School District Question #1:Shall the school board of Independent School District No. 413 (Marshall Public Schools) be authorized to issue its general obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $39,415,000 to provide funds for the acquisition and betterment of school sites and facilities, including the construction and equipping of a new grades 2 to 4 elementary school facility and the decommissioning of the existing West Side Elementary School facility; the construction of additions, alterations, improvements and upgrades to the Park Side Elementary School to convert that facility to a preK-1 facility; the construction of additions, alterations, improvements and upgrades to the Marshall Middle School and the Marshall High School sites and facilities; and the construction of secure entries and security and safety improvements at the elementary, middle and high school facilities?
*Voters will have the option to vote Yes or No on the ballot question.School District Question #2:If School District Question 1 is approved, shall the school board of Independent School District No. 413 (Marshall Public Schools) also be authorized to issue its general obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $1,025,000 to provide funds for the acquisition and betterment of school facilities, including the renovation of the current swimming pool area in the middle school facility to provide multi-purpose and multi-use space in that facility?
