Marshall Public School's Annual Audit
For the 2017 fiscal year, the Marshall Public School District received a favorable report on its annual financial audit. The audit was conducted by Hoffman and Brobst, an accounting firm hired by the district to complete the annual process. According to the audit report, the district complied with all requirements of state code that govern school district financial reporting. The firm gave the district an "unqualified opinion," which means there are no weaknesses in the district's financial reporting and budgeting processes.

The District has implemented the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Statements No. 34 and 54. These statements are the most sweeping government accounting changes in decades.
