Director: Beth Ritter

Hello and welcome to Marshall Public Schools! My name is Beth Ritter, and I am the Director of Teaching and Learning. I have been with Marshall Public Schools since 2003. Prior to becoming the Director of Teaching and Learning, I taught 4th grade, Title I Reading, served as an Instructional Coach and MEQ Coordinator. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato, master’s degree from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota, Reading Licensure from Southwest Minnesota State University and K-12 Administrative License from Minnesota State University, Moorhead. My husband, Scott, and I have three children, and you’ll often find us either at a hockey rink cheering on our son or at a dance competition cheering on one or both of our girls.

Our dedicated and passionate staff at Marshall Public Schools are top notch and the primary focus of everything we do is centered around meeting the needs of all our students. We continue to focus on the Science of Reading and meeting the requirements of the READ Act, Math strategies to ensure students’ needs are being met, and the social and emotional learning for all our students. We know that the overall wellbeing of our staff and students is of utmost importance as we strive to “educate, support, and prepare all learners for success.
