📣 Important Update for 2025-2026 Activity Registration 🎉
We wanted to let our families know that Activity Registration for the 2025-2026 school year will open on July 14th.
Please note: our current registration system, RSchools, has been acquired by Arbiter Sports. As part of this transition, all parents will need to create new accounts in the new system.
We understand that change can bring questions, and we’re here to help! We’ll be sharing step-by-step instructions as we learn more about how the new system works.
Thank you for your patience and support during this transition. We’re excited about the upgrades and all the great things ahead for our activities next school year! 🏀🎭🏃♀️🎶

Summer school students welcomed Sam Jens, from Lyon County 4-H, who assisted students in investigating coding by giving instructions to a robot named “Edison!” Using bar codes and a sound control sensor, Edison was able move in different ways when students clapped or shouted phrases.

Brandon & Angie Salfer visited summer school students to share their 3D Printer. They discussed how a 3D printer works, demonstrated “printing” a boat, and answered many questions. Students found the process fascinating!

Marshall Public Schools would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible sponsors and supporters for their continued partnership with our Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. Your generosity and commitment play a vital role in helping us provide meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that prepare our students for success beyond the classroom. Because of your support, we are able to offer high-quality education, real-world opportunities, and the tools our students need to explore and pursue their future careers. 🙌🎓 Thank you for being an essential part of our mission to empower every learner, every day.

The third-grade students at Southview Elementary would like to thank the Pride in the Tiger Foundation for their generous grant to allow us to visit the Bramble Park Zoo in Watertown, South Dakota. This experience allowed us to connect our social studies and science curriculum and lessons to the real world. For some of us, it was the first time at a real zoo! We appreciate the foundation’s continued interest in and support of our education!

Mrs. Speakman and Mrs. Kuecker’s third-grade classes at Southview Elementary would like to thank the Pride in the Tiger Foundation for their generous grant allowing us to diversify our classroom libraries. Through this grant, we were able to purchase children’s books that showcase a variety of characters and storylines from other cultures, family structures, and abilities. Our goal in this project was to encourage literacy development and the love of reading by allowing all students in our classes to see themselves and make connections to the books they read, and many of the students were so excited to see characters similar to themselves represented in the books! We appreciate the foundation’s continued interest in and support of our education.

Each year the Kindness Award is given to a 4th grade student who has shown kindness in and around the school in the time that they've been here. This year's Kindness Award was awarded to Elizabetta in Mrs. Thor’s.
Congratulations to this year bike winners! They showed their Tiger Pride throughout the year. Special thank you to Sundance, Thrivant and Shine Center donating the bikes.
2nd Grade – Za’Riyah in Mrs. Jiskoot’s and Leng in Mrs. Leek’s
3rd Grade – Evelyn in Mrs. Pavek’s and Vincent in Mrs. Kuecker’s
4th Grade – Nathan in Mrs. Brouwer’s and Kevin in Mr. Weiss’
BE RESPONSIBLE – BE RESPECTFUL – BE SAFE
