🎉👏 Congratulations to Marshall Middle School's Lolita Smith! 👏🎉 Lolita, a 6th grader at MMS, was selected as the winner of the Rotary Essay Contest! 🏆 She had the opportunity to read her essay aloud in front of the Rotary members. 📖🎤 The theme of the contest was "How Can I Apply the Four-Way Test to My Life?" and students were asked to write essays between 200–500 words. Lolita’s thoughtful writing and personal reflections stood out among the entries. 💭📝 The Rotary Four-Way Test is a set of guiding principles used to encourage ethical behavior and decision-making. It asks: Is it the TRUTH? Is it FAIR to all concerned? Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned? Way to go, Lolita!
