Summer School students had the opportunity to work with Sam Jens with Lyon County 4-H and learn about food rations. They learned about carbohydrates, proteins, fats, and minerals! Students made a trail mix to represent the different items (and of course enjoyed the fun treat in the end!)

Summer School ended their first week with a fun visit from the Bramble Park Zoo. Students got the opportunity to meet and learn about a variety of animals.
