🥳Congratulations to Ryan Botsford, Jack Gunn and Carter Gehrke who are semifinalists for the National Merit Scholarship! Over 1.3 million juniors in about 21,000 high schools entered the National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2023 PSAT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Qualifying Test) last fall. The nation-wide pool of semifinalists, representing less than 1% of US high school seniors, includes the highest scoring entrants in each state. Ryan, Jack, and Carter will submit their academic records, recommendations from high school officials and write an essay for consideration to advance to the finalist category. There are 16,000 semifinalists and 15,000 of them are expected to advance to the finalist category. National Merit Scholarship winners will be announced from this group of finalists. Applicants will be notified in February. Congrats, we are proud of you!
