Mrs. Barker, Mrs. Hjermstad and Mrs. Hoppes 1st graders have been studying the effects of slow and fast land changes in the forms of hurricanes, tornadoes, volcanoes, earthquakes, erosion and water flow!








Last week in Ms. Morris' 6th grade language arts class they finished up their theme unit by the looking at different children's books, and finding the theme that the author uses in the book. Then the students had to create posters displaying the theme they found in the books. It was a fun way to tie everything they have learned together.

On Friday, December 22, Marshall Public Schools will dismiss at 12:00 PM (Noon). Marshall High School will be making lunch available to students on this day for those students who wish to eat a school lunch before leaving for the long break. Breakfast will be served, as normal, on this day. Lunch will be served at 11:40 AM with busses running to take students home starting at 12:00 PM. Students who do not wish to eat a school lunch and/or who do not ride a bus will be allowed to leave school at 11:40 that day.
Enjoy the holiday break! We look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday, January 2.

1. Little Cubs Preschool is having an all-school winter celebration in their gym on the 22nd!

3. Tiger Cafe, a program designed to enhance employment skills for students with disabilities continues to deliver delicious coffee orders to our staff. More to come on this via social media this week!

Our talented High School Orchestra students performed Holiday music in the cafeteria today. We are very fortunate to have them!
