In keeping with the spirit of Halloween, 7th grade language arts students worked their way through a maze by answering close read questions, completed a plot development scavenger hunt, and answered character analysis questions to crack an encrypted code and escape the haunted forest!







There's lots of Activities going on at MHS! Our MHS volleyball team won the Section Championship last night and will be advancing to the state tournament. Keep an eye out for Fan Bus information. Our MHS Football team will be playing in Hutchinson this Friday at 7pm for the Section Championship. MMS students had a blast as we had our school-wide costume party hosted by student council. Students dressed up in a bunch of fun costumes and enjoyed cookies and games during advisory.

1st Grade Fall Party fun!










The Kindergarten and First Grade students in Ms. Brigger and Mrs. Purrington’s class in the ILC had fun doing some pumpkin book characters!



The high school students had a lot of fun hosting their Trunk-or-Treat event last night at the high school. It's nice to see the little ones interacting with the older students. Happy Halloween!!





Mrs. Speakman and her 3rd graders would like to thank the Pride in the Tiger Foundation for their generous grant to purchase soft start activities for our classroom. Our class loves the time in the morning to be creative, practice problem solving skills, and engage with classmates before we start our school day. The Legos, kinetic sand, and doodle boards are our favorites activities.

A big thank you going out to our Honor Society students for helping out with the blood drive. Great job!

MATEC Student Council had a great time serving our community throught the Meals on Wheels program!

The 8th grade students and teachers would like to thank the Pride in the Tiger Foundation for the generous grant to help purchase an upgraded version of Quizizz for our 8th grade math students. Not only is it a great way for students to have interactive practice, but it also gives teachers great feedback to help students achieve success. Please know that your generosity will impact each of the students in a positive way. Thanks again from MMS 8th grade math students and teachers.
