Our boys' basketball team will be Shooting for a Cure on Tuesday, January 9th. B squad will play at 6pm and varsity to follow at 7:15pm. Come early and grab a walking taco meal for only $7 and help support cancer research in hopes to find a cure. All proceeds will be going to the Randy Shaver Cancer Research & Community Fund. Last week in Ms. Morris' 6th grade language arts class they finished up their theme unit by the looking at different children's books, and finding the theme that the author uses in the book. Then the students had to create posters displaying the theme they found in the books. It was a fun way to tie everything they have learned together.
