CTE education offers students opportunities to explore career options and acquire the technical skills and knowledge to work towards industry-recognized certifications and high-demand careers. Our new CTI building houses three advanced areas of our CTE program: medical (CNA), Advanced Welding & Advanced Automotive. Here are this week's Park Side Tiger Pride winners!


Mrs. Dulas’ technology class are learning about Ozobots. Ozobots are little robots that can be programmed using color codes creating sequences of commands for the robot for a fun and interactive way for kids to learn coding. They can also be used for digital coding to create more complex programs by dragging and dropping blocks in the Blockly interface on their devices. Kids are having so much fun with them!

Join us for the 3rd Annual PTA Fun Run/Walk and Silent Auction for Field Trips. Many of the funds that PTA raises go to help grade levels pay for bussing for field trips. In February, Living on Your Own class headed to the parking lot to check out the anatomy of a car. Students scouted out the location of the air filter, where to add washer fluid and how to check the oil. They also did the penny test to check the tread on the tires!
