Middle School students had a blast dancing "Under the Sea" Thursday evening. Students enjoyed pizza and water as they danced the night away. Taking fun photos and enjoying time with their friends made for a great evening. They even learned some "new" dances like the electric and cha cha slides.

Our PTA school fundraiser is in full swing! Kindergarten through 8th grade students brought home a packet with all the information needed to get started to help support many amazing programs at Marshall Public Schools. Your participation, and each item sold, makes a difference in the lives of students. All profits go right back to students in the form of payment for field trip costs, classroom supplies, books, guest speakers, sensory items, alternative seating, recess and PE equipment, student hygiene supplies, and so much more. All orders, forms, and money are due back to school by Friday, October 13. Orders can be picked up to be distributed mid-November (exact pickup date to-be-determined) and here is a video with more information that was presented to students today. https://kredo.canto.com/v/Cherrydale/s/IG57G?viewIndex=1&column=video&id=s186ji5bod2v55ctha722fcd45 Thank you for your support! The ECFE- 1's and 2's class made their own play with apples this week! Families created dough apple pies from special recipe cards that included ingredients like cinnamon sticks (pipe cleaners), red and green apples (pom poms), and lattice strips (popsicle sticks). Children smelled their apple spice play-dough pies and enjoyed sensory play with oatmeal, apples, and bugs.

This week in 6th grade Language Arts the students are reading Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain which was adapted into a play. To add a little extra excitement students got to read as the different characters and were given the option to wear some fun costumes and props in Ms. Morris's class. What a fun thing to do during homecoming week!
